The Gypsy Pistoleros had a reputation for danger and made history by being the only band to be invited to play at all four Rocklahoma festivals, in Oklahoma, USA.  They toured extensively, playing with the likes of L.A. Guns, Dirty Penny, Bai Bang, Wrathchild, Vains Of Jenna, Twisted Sister, Poison, Vince Neil, Bang Tango, Skid Row, Slaughter, Faster Pussycat, Dokken and ZZ Top.  Their last gig as a band was on the main stage of England’s legendary Bulldog Bash biker festival in August 2010.

““Duende – Last of the Pistoleros” is an amazing transformation for Pistolero, the re-recorded tunes from his old band show a new depth to the songs, the production is lavish throughout, and the ever-present rock is fleshed out with some heartfelt roll straight from Pistolero’s soul.  A ground-breaking album which should elevate the man and his music up to a whole new level.” (Trulie Jackson, www.therockpit.net)
